Overview:

Peng You Quan, an authentic Chinese restaurant in Gurugram, wanted two standees to attract walk-in customers — one showcasing their signature dishes and another dedicated to their hotpot experience. The goal was to create visually rich, informative designs that reflect the restaurant’s brand essence and Chinese cultural aesthetic.

Objective:

To design two elegant and engaging standees that highlight:

• Restaurant name, address, and contact details

• Featured dish menus and hotpot items

• Brand slogans that connect emotionally with the audience

Creative Approach:

• Chose a deep red and gold color palette symbolizing prosperity and warmth in Chinese culture.

• Used a balance of typography hierarchy, authentic food imagery, and subtle Chinese patterns to create a clean yet inviting design.

Outcome:

The final standees effectively captured attention in the restaurant’s lobby and mall corridor. The design strengthened brand recall while helping visitors understand the menu offerings quickly.
